The standard sample SO-1 is made of organic glass of the TOSP brand according to GOST 17622-72.
The standard sample CO-1 is intended for:
- determination of conditional sensitivity, mm, depth of occurrence of a cylindrical hole;
- estimates of the accuracy of the depth gauge for flaw detectors in which the depth gauge is calibrated in units of time;
- estimates of the beam resolution of the direct PEP. At the same time, if all three reflectors are resolved, then three pulses are observed on the flaw detector screen, the distance between which corresponds to 5.5 and 11 mm steel.;
- estimates of the radial resolution of the inclined PEP. At the same time, three pulses from the cylinder surfaces are observed on the flaw detector screen, the distance between the pulses corresponds to 5.5 and 11 mm steel.
Sample V1 is made in accordance with the requirements of international standards EN 12223, ISO2400-1972.
Sample V1 is designed for:

- tasks of the reference signal of the flaw detector with an inclined PEP;
- settings of the maximum sensitivity of the flaw detector when working with an inclined probe.
Sample (measure) V2, aka K2, is used to configure small-sized and miniature converters.
Sample V2 is used for:
